Alright, I don't really have a clue as to what I'm doing, but, here goes. A friend of mine, bizkit (see his blog here), started up a blog a couple of weeks ago, and it seemed like a good way to rant. And since I am always up for a chance to rant on anything, here I am.
Last night, me and bizkit head out to our regular hangout to meet up with some friends of ours. He's drinking his Absynth that came in the mail for him yesterday. (Just let me say something here about this stuff. It has to be some of the worst smelling, and tasteing, stuff I have ever tried. Because I did try it later. My mouth went immediately numb, and I felt it burn its way down to my stomach. As for the taste, it tastes like Uzo, for those of you that have had it, or black licorice, if you haven't, except, its about 20 times stronger. This crap is vile. And he payed a lot of money for it.) We get on the subway, and he's feeling ok, but at the stop just before ours, he starts getting really flushed and sweating. I'm starting to think that the Ab is getting to him, and he's going to blow soon. But, lucky for me, and all the Koreans around us, he's able to hang on till we get out into the open air. And after sitting and catching his breath for a few minutes, he's good to go. We meet our teacher friends and procede to have a good night. (I don't remember right now how much he's said about them, but they're a Brit, a New Zealander and an Okie (No offense, just easier to type). They are, as my dad would say, "Good people." I get along great with all of them.) Anyway, like I said, the night is enjoyable, there's good conversation, and the drinks are flowing. Even the New Zealander was really enjoying herself (her boyfriend had to leave for a little while, and she can't wait for him to get back). Anyway, the Okie and her boyfriend (we'll call him Fred from now on) took off around 11:30/12:00, and the Brit left around 2, or so. Also around 2:30, an Aussie that I met last week, before he got into the fight with bizkit, came in looking for me and bizkit. He didn't want to fight, he wanted to apologize for what happened. He heard we were here, and came by to see. It was pretty cool. We all brought each other drinks, and bullshitted for a couple of hours, by which time, the three of us that are left are getting pretty tired, so we say our goodbyes and caught a cab back to our various homes. All in all, a good night.
Today, I talked to the Kiwi, and we are going to go see a movie. Don't know which one yet, neither of us really knows what movies are playing, but that's not the point. At least she's not sitting around her apartment and thinking about her boyfriend and missing him. And after that we might meet up with the Okie and Fred to go to an amusment park here. But I don't know if that'll happen or not. We'll see. I'll talk to ya'll later. Bye.
