The Rules

I have decided to restart my blog.  Previously, I only had a handful of readers, mostly friends, and friends of friends, and basically kept to topics that involved what I had done.  Now that I am retired from the Army I feel I am free to express my opinions on political topics as well.  Lately I have been becoming more and more frustrated with events happening in my beloved country.  And I need a place to vent these feelings and thoughts, without offending people I consider dear friends, or my family.  (You know who you are.)  I also wanted a place where even those that disagree with me could say so, and loudly, if they felt the need.  However, there are a few rules:

1.  Be respectful of myself, and others that post on here.  I will not tolerate personal attacks, mudslinging or general inflammatory statements, such as "You're a dick."  (While it may be true, still won't be allowed.)

2.  Everyone is entitled to their opinion.  It is a right I defended for 21 years.  Just because it is an opinion that doesn't agree with you, doesn't mean it is wrong.  (That applies even to myself.)

3.   I reserve the right to print whatever I feel here.  If you don't like it, sorry, but its for me, not you.  You DO NOT have to visit my site.  I welcome your views none the less if you disagree with me.

4.  I am an honest person, sometimes brutally so.  (Those that know me, know this is true.)  If I hurt your feelings, I won't apologize.  Unless I was very mistaken about what I was writing about.

And 5.  BE RESPECTFUL of others and myself on here.

Failure to follow these simple rules will result in your comment being deleted.  Simple as that.  Have a nice day.
